Postbaccalaureate Program Components
There are three components: an intensive summer study skills and MCAT preparation program, assistance in the application process, and three quarters of enrollment in upper division science courses at UC Riverside. Students accepted to our program receive extensive instruction, personalized advising and counseling and support in:
- Developing effective test-taking and study skills
- Preparing for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)
- Assistance with the medical school application process
- Increasing understanding of the health system, health disparities and the needs of medically underserved communities
- Preparing for interviews
